B. Diverse Learning Measures for Educational Excellence

NTU has introduced a plan for raising teaching quality in 2006 and 2007 in order to make appropriate use of its resources. This plan has been implemented only after passing careful review by first the Offi ce of Academic Aff airs Consulting Committee and then the Campus-wide Consulting Committee. Since the implementation of this plan has required system-wide coordination, the Offi ce of Academic Aff airs and other NTU units have made additions and revisions to relevant regulations. Revised regulations include the "Instructor Evaluation Standards," "Selection and Incentive Rules for Instructors of Teaching Excellence," and "Establishment Regulations for Course Evaluation Committees." Among added regulations are the "Establishment Standards for Teaching Assistants" and "Implementation Regulations for the Mentoring System of the National Taiwan University Offi ce of Academic Aff airs Center for Teaching and Learning Development." The implementation status of this plan is outlined below.
